10 February 2010 - The New Zealand ENERGY STAR solar water heating specification has been finalised, and will be launched on 1 June 2010.

3 Sept 2009 - TVs will soon need to be 40% more energy efficient than conventional models to gain the ENERGY STAR mark.

1 July 2009 - EECA has introduced a new specification to help consumers identify CFLs with leading energy efficiency and performance.
