Entries now open for the 11th EECA Awards
Organisations with successful energy efficiency or renewable energy projects are invited to enter the 2010 EECA Awards, which open today.
“More and more New Zealand organisations are turning to energy management because it makes good business sense,” says EECA Chief Executive, Mike Underhill. “It improves profitability, increases competitiveness and enhances reputation.
“Energy efficiency and renewable energy projects come in all shapes and sizes, and they are going on in all sectors of our economy.
“I really encourage any business with a solid energy management project to enter the 2010 EECA Awards and get the recognition they deserve.
“Committing to an energy management initiative demonstrates leadership and a focus on maximising profitability in an environmentally responsible way. These organisations are the leaders, often inspiring others to follow suit, and we want to hear from them,” Mr Underhill said.
There are nine different categories in the 2010 EECA Awards and entries are open until 30 July 2010.
