ENERGY STAR heat pump version 2.0 specification finalised

On 1 April 2010, EECA is raising the bar for ENERGY STAR heat pumps.

When the outside temperature drops in winter, some heat pumps struggle to keep up. So we've included a performance criteria in the new ENERGY STAR specification that's designed to ensure that a correctly sized ENERGY STAR qualified heat pump will perform efficiently at 2°C
